Deeksha Seth's journey in the entertainment industry began when she was discovered by a scout from the Femina Miss India contest during an NSS event in her first year of college in 2009. Encouraged by the scout, she decided to pursue modeling and participate in the beauty pageant. Deeksha collaborated with a family friend to create a portfolio and entered the competition. Despite her lack of modeling experience, she emerged as one of the top ten finalists and even won the Fresh Face title.
During a modeling assignment in Hyderabad, Deeksha caught the attention of the casting director of Krish's Telugu film "Vedam." The producers chose her for the role of Pooja, the affluent girlfriend of Cable Raju (played by Allu Arjun), after rejecting 70 other candidates. Deeksha was drawn to the script and took the opportunity to be a part of the film.
"Vedam," an anthology drama, garnered widespread critical acclaim and received numerous awards. Following its success, Deeksha signed on for two more Telugu films. The first was "Mirapakaay," starring Ravi Teja, which achieved significant commercial success. However, her next film, "Wanted," an action drama with Gopichand, performed poorly at the box office.
